Making a list of best 3D printer is a hard task. This is mostly because technology changes lightning fast so do consumer demands.
There is a large amount of cheap 3D printers which appeared in 2017/18 and that makes this task even harder.
While our team invest plenty of effort and tries to test as much cheap 3D printers out there, we can’t test every single printer under the Sun. That’s why we can’t call this an ultimate list.
On the other hand, this list includes only the best 3D printers out of a dozen we tested.
One more thing wort mentioning is that we are all different. What might be the best for us, might not suit your needs.

Best Cheap 3D Printers to buy in 2017
AnyCubic i3 Mega
Great 3D printer which works mostly out of the box with a great print quality. It comes with a mid-range price tag.
Creality3D CR-10
CR-10 is stable, rigid 3D printer which biggest advantage is large print volume. It has great print quality and a large community.
Tevo Black Widow
Heavy, stable and well-built 3D printer which can print different materials out of the box and has large build volume.
Anet A6
For those with a tight budget, Anet A6 is a very good entry-level 3D printer with a huge community, but requires tinkering.
Anet A8
Largest community behind it and enormous amounts of free printable upgrades. Requires safety upgrades.
