A Cheap 4K Action Camera for Under $40? XDV V3 4K Review

AUDIO QUALITY

The audio quality of the XDV is terrible, the worst of any action camera I’ve ever used. It does an okay job of capturing noise (wind, passing cars) but voices don’t sound like any living creature, human or otherwise. Plus the camera’s own integrated speaker is so quiet as to be almost mute.  If audio quality is important to you then forget the XDV.  In the video samples you can hear the general din and me saying “hello” a couple of times but that’s about it.
